Terms & Conditions

For the purpose of absolute clarity, in the below Terms & Conditions 'Sausage Dog Party Hire Ltd' can be referred to as 'we/us/our' or 'Sausage Dog Party Hire' and you, the customer, can be referred to as 'you/your/the customer'.

All goods for hire remain property of Sausage Dog Party Hire.

Sausage Dog Party Hire reserves the right to take photographs of the hired equipment at your event for promotional purposes, unless you request that we don't.

Your booking is not confirmed until the payment has been made successfully and you have received your confirmation email.

We appreciate that you may need to change a booking due to a number of reasons. Should this be the case, all alterations will be considered subject to availability and the cancellation policy.

In the unlikely event that we are not ready to commence at the agreed time due to our fault, then we will still operate the agreed hire period by extending the finishing time of the hire (venue permitting). In the event that the hire does not start at the agreed time due to no fault of our own, then the hire will still end at the time stated on the booking confirmation. In the event that we have set up in time but the hire does not start at the agreed time due to over running of previous activities by you or venue, the hire will still end at the time stated on the booking confirmation.

If we cannot attend or fulfil the agreed hire due to any circumstances out of our control, these may include but are not limited to: severe weather conditions, traffic delays, breakdown of vehicles, sickness or equipment failure, then we will contact either you or the venue as soon as possible. In these instances, our liability will be limited to refunding all monies paid for the undelivered equipment.

We operate within a delivery radius of 25 miles from SK9 included within any prices stated online. Any customer outside of this radius must contact us before booking via email at info@sausagedogpartyhire.co.uk to determine whether delivery is possible. Upon a decision, a surcharge may be applicable.

If you use the equipment for a time period exceeding what was agreed on the booking confirmation, the additional rental time will be charged at £60 per hour (1 hour minimum charge) and must be paid before additional hours are provided. A maximum of 2 additional hours may be granted at our discretion.

In terms of the Photo Booth, if you would like us to set up earlier than your requested start time, we can do so at a cost of £40 per hour of idle time. This must be agreed via email before your event.

We understand that occasionally circumstances do change, and this is reflected in our cancellation policy. Cancellations made more than 70 days prior to your event will receive a full refund minus a £15.00 administration fee. Cancellations made 30 to 70 days prior to your event will receive a 50% refund minus a £15.00 administration fee. Cancellations made 15 to 30 days prior to your event will receive a 25% refund minus a £15.00 administration fee.  Unfortunately any bookings cancelled less than 15 days prior to your event will not be refunded. To cancel, please contact us at info@sausagedogpartyhire.co.uk

Please note: cancellations are not confirmed until we have acknowledged receipt of your cancellation request.

All props supplied are to be kept within the specified event premises.

We provide props for the enjoyment of our customers and we understand that it is inevitable that some props may go astray. However if it is deemed that too many photobooth props are missing or damaged at the end of the event, a charge may be applicable (an amount which is at our discretion) depending on the value of the missing / damaged props.

It is your responsibility to report any damages of equipment to us prior to the equipment being collected after your event. Any unreported damages or missing equipment discovered after the event are still your responsibility and will be charged accordingly. We have 60 days following your event to contact you with a damage report and an invoice to cover the cost of any damages.

Under no circumstances can any banners or decoration be attached to the sweet cart. Our sweet cart is professionally made and painted and for that reason, customers are not permitted to stand drinks on the cart as this may result in staining and water damage. Any damage to the sweet cart caused by drinks or glasses will incur a charge. Missing items or damaged items will be charged at the full replacement value, and we will not accept any substitute replacements.

We reserve the right to substitute hired equipment with equipment of a similar type and value without notice in the event of previous damage or loss of equipment.

Hired equipment will be set up in one location only as agreed on arrival and cannot be moved once set up. This location must be on a firm level floor, indoors or under cover (i.e. in a marquee or teepee) and protected from rain, wind and other elements. Customers are also not permitted to move the equipment.

Please ensure there is sufficient space, at least 1 working mains power socket nearby and Wi-Fi available (Wi-Fi for photobooth only) at the venue.

All equipment hire is subject to the you having obtained permission by the venue prior to your event and ensuring there is adequate space for all equipment and any extras (i.e. ropes/poles/red carpet for photobooth). We cannot be held responsible for being turned away from the venue.

Please inform us of any circumstances that would make setting up of the equipment more demanding, including flights of stairs, long distances from unloading area to venue etc. A period of time is allocated for setting up the equipment at the venue which is included within our prices, but if there are any complications that are not made known to us beforehand then unfortunately this will be deducted from the run time.

We reserve the right to cease operation and remove hired equipment from the venue if at any time a representative of Sausage Dog Party Hire feels that the conduct of the customer or their guests endangers the safety of the customer, their guests, themselves or the safety of the hired equipment. In such cases no refund will be given.

Our immersive green screen photobooth technology requires the replacement of green colouring to successfully work. We cannot be held responsible if people are wearing green whilst using the photobooth.

It may be necessary to change the paper and ink during your event, you agree that this is a necessary interruption and we will add any time lost carrying out this task to the hire period.

We reserve the right to offer additional promotional items for sale at your event. These include but are not limited to key-rings, fridge magnets and photo frames.

If unattended hire equipment becomes faulty whilst at your event and it is deemed that you or one of your guests has tampered, altered or damaged the equipment then a call out charge of £75 will be incurred. This may be on top of any damages which may need to be paid for. If the equipment malfunctions due to no fault of your own then no charges will be incured.

Health & Safety

We accept no liability for any damage or loss of personal property and or any injury arising from the use of the hired equipment.

Some sweets may contain or have traces of nuts or nut oils or may have been in contact with products and sweets containing nuts. We cannot be held responsible for any issues resulting from any food allergies.

You should ensure that young children are supervised at all times to avoid the risk of suffocation or choking from plastic sweet wrappers or paper bags.

Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult whilst using our equipment.

We reserve the right to refuse guests admission into the photobooth if the attendant feels they are too unruly, too intoxicated or pose a danger to the customer, their guests, themselves or the hired equipment.

Facebook, Twitter & Uploads

All uploads are subject to a stable internet connection.

Where possible a Wi-Fi connection needs to be made available for uploads and we cannot be held responsible for the quality of the Wi-Fi connection.

The customer is required to Log into Facebook for Facebook uploads to work and it is their responsibility to log out afterwards.

Facebook & Twitter may not allow uploads to album pages as they do not have an album section. It is the responsibility of the customer to check this.
